Christmas Kiddies

To get Stella and myself into the Christmas spirit and of course, make my kiddies look uber gorgeous, I set to work this past week  , creating their Christmas outifits (in the late hours of the nights in true Liz style of course!).

We had our playgroup Christmas party on Friday, that deserves a post all in itself (to come) so Stella and the babies were able to wear their Christmas goodies.

I made Stella a gorgeous skirt, and she LOVED it!! Complete with ric rac and gingham ribbon and matching applique shirt and Max and Lacey with Applique bodysuits (they just wore red shorts M and red tights L, I ran out of time for nappy covers.

Stella loves her skirt!!

Beautiful babies

Stellas clone, Lacey

So now I have cool little outfits for them to wear to the many Christmas functions we have coming in the next few weeks.

I also made 2 soft and special books for the Play group Christmas party, for Max and Lacey, from Santa of course!!
Every Mum was asked to bring along a gift of a book, wrapped and for your child to receive from Father Christmas and I wanted something soft and playable for the twins.

Max got a 1,2,3 book and Lacey and A,B, C. They love them and so does Stella Star!!

I am also thinking about the super long list of handmade gifts I would like to make, but I have a few orders to complete first!

Let me know if anyone is interested in me making some Christmas shirts of outifits to sell for Bizzy Dayz!

Markets Galore

On Sunday I attended the Midwest baby and Kids Market in my home town , Geraldton, Western Australia of course!
This market was sooo much more relaxed than the last, purhaps it had a little to do with the age of my babes, and the fact I didn't have any kids there at all this time. I had such a successful day and am really really chuffed with the outcome. I had HEAPS of stock and as always, different things sold this time around , which is always tricky as you never know what to prepare.
Here are some pics of my stall, hope you like them, and if you see anything you like , just leave a comment or email me, I can post anywhere!!

To make the day even better, I got to spend some quality and alone time withe my favouritest sister, Kristy from Bread n Butter Factory, she is super duper talented and an utter perfectionist and makes the most devine creations, clips, clip holders, softies, wall canvases and all handsewn and hand cut individually by Kristy herself!! Do yourselves a favour and check out her stuff,  or you can purchase some at the online baby shop Jive Baby HERE. Remember this from Stella's room, its our most prized posession!!

I have just been to set up at Walkaway for the Christmas in the Country Markets, I am really looking forward to it, plenty of room for prams and shoppers to be comfortable and for only $5 , unlimited scones and a cup of tea, why not!!
Hope to see you there!

one sleep

Now... I think I have been very well behaved in the matter, but the time has come...... 1 more sleep to go. One more sleep until we see Powderfinger, Live. In. Concert!! And I can not wait!! We have seen them before , yes, but this time is different. This is the last time we will see them, EVER! Not to mention seeing Jet, their supporting act, what a supporting act !!! Whats even more exciting is the fact we are going on a date. Just hubby, and me! I can not wait! The first time in a VERY long time, we are goin out alone. SOLO, just us!! Friday night = Date night!! Yeeeehhhaaa!
Now that I have done my little rant, onto some good stuff.
Here is what I created last night;

And it on the couch with the others;

And the burp cloth winners goodies. Meagan, I hope you like them!!

Now as you have gathered, we are off to Perth in the wee hours of the morning, and I feel like a kid before Christmas. I get to see my good friend Jess , she has started a blog too, check it out HERE, and I get to go to my favourite shops (Ikea, Kikki K, Cotton on Kids Big W (sad I know) Freedom, and hopefully Domayne!), we are going for a trip to the Zoo (Stella is uber excited) and more importantly, we get to spend time together, as a family, for longer than one day.
Needless to say I will be MIA for a few days, but back with more goodies, piccies and projects, so stay tuned. Happy Weekend peeps!
BTW- Make sure you check out my super talented sister at Bread N Butter Factory's new BLOG
