39 weeks....

Wowzers!! I have made it!!
39 weeks.
Time has definately flown by, but then at the same time, boy has it dragged!!
I am big, like HUGE!
I have been for some time now, mostly due to the lack of ANY muscle tone in my stomach, and the seperation of the muscles from my last pregnancy with the twins!
So really, I didn't think I would make it this far into the pregnancy, and I don't think many of my friends and doctors did either! ( The twins pregnancy was very hard on my body, and I have only realised that in the last few months)
My pelvis has seperated again, and I am wearing a brace, but has felt better in the last few weeks, surprisingly.
I have constant, atrocious heartburn, and my back is aching.
WHINGE WHINGE WHINGE!! haha
But all in all, I feel pretty good, and if I didn't have to run around , pick up and constantly search for 2 little, devil 18 month olds, everything would be A, ok! Yeah right.
But , I am excited. Like crazy excited .
 To meet our little babe.
To find out what sex it is.
To see its little face and who it looks like,
To have newborn snuggles and not have to hand it back.
To have just one baby to feed, cuddle , worry about ( as much as I loved having twins last time, having one baby is very exciting!)
And for our 3 little people, to finally meet the bump in Mum's tummy!

Oh and to be comfortable again.
To have energy again.
To sleep again. ( As much as you can with a newborn, but probably more than what I am getting at the moment with Insomnia!!)
Not long now! Eeeek

26 weeks

Firstly, I just wanted to say a HUGE thankyou to everyone for their messages of love and support after my hissy fit and whinge fest in one of my last posts. The pregnancy hormones are well and truely flying around , and most unwelcome alot of the time, but I did feel so much better after getting it all out. I just didn't mean for everyone to feel sorry for me, it wasn't my intention at all.
However its been refreshing and comforting to know that I am not alone. Mothers guilt is a horrible, horrible thing, but its reassuring that nearly every mother gets it in some way or other, and this Parenting gig is not easy, so we should all be proud of ourselves for the jobs we are doing!! Hardest job in the world I would say, but also the most rewarding!!
So thankyou, I felt better, and really appreciate all the offers for help etc , just knowing people are there , if I was ever to need them, makes life that bit easier!! xo

Now down to business!

Just to be consistant, I am nearly a week late with my belly shot, but thats how it goes.....
So last Friday, we turned 26 weeks, we are nearly 27 now. Time is flying by!!
Like, really fast!!
We are nearly in August, and with my Mums and Darling Husbands birthdays in that month, it will go really quickly, then we have September, and half of October to get organised before we play the waiting game. Not long really, I hope by then  I am ready for a new bubba!! Its not that I don't want one, cos I do, they are booootiful, but right now, my twins are still babies, and demand alot of time and attention.
It will all work out beautifully, I know it will!

Big bubba at 26 weeks. Please excuse the mini handprints on the mirror, they like to lick themselves! Noice

At 26 weeks, the baby should measure 36ish centremetres, and weigh around 780g!!
It feels twice the size, and the kicks feel just as often as the twins did, double the fun in just one little package!!!
I am thinking its a boy, Noel thinks its a girl (or is he hoping, as our girls are quite placid compared to Master Max!?)
And I thought I was set for names, then meh, changed my mind and so did Noel, so we will have to wait and see. Oh the pressure of choosing a name for a special little person, for the rest of their lives!! ARGH!!

21 weeks (2 weeks late again!)

I am not being all that punctual with these posts am I?
To be honest, I have been pretty slack at taking the belly shots at all this time around at all!
With Stella's pregnancy I was excited, it was new, you know how it is.
Then when I was pregnant with the twins, I was big. Like HUGE. Not really until the end, but noticably bigger than someone carrying a singleton.
And Baby Morrison #4 is getting slightly neglected unfortunately. Mostly because when I get dressed , I am usually running to the car on my way out, no time for photos!!
But I will try and make more of an effort, just to compare if anything!

So.... here I am ready to go out for tea with my beautiful Bookclub girls at 21 weeks,  (2 weeks ago)
Complete with my own baby hugger!! So cute!

At 21 weeks , the baby could measure 27cm from crown to foot, and can probably hear everything we are saying and doing!! Luckily I sing alot to the kids but I am sure it is hearing all my telling off I have been doing of late (cabin fever is setting in for everyone!)

The baby is really starting to kick now, and really loves that sugar hit I like to consume after dinner!
Noel felt bub kick the for first time this week (22 1/2 weeks) which was so lovely for him. I think he thought he was never going to feel it! The kicking does feel a little dull this time, but its early days and I have to remember I don't have 2 little rascals kicking anymore, just the one beautiful cherub!

Right, so I am now 23 weeks ( will be on Friday) , so I have 15 weeks to get organised and move these rooms and beds around. I can't wait to just get stuck into it now!
OOOOOWwww how exciting!

18 weeks.........last week

Last week, before falling ill, I had grand intentions of a baby bump update. So , here it is, a week late, my bump at 18 and a half weeks! Isn't it a biggen!! Oh deary me, I think , actually, I know, my stomach muscles are literally non existant and had still on come back to the middle from the twins pregnancy, and this baby popped right out there, and fast too!!

How am I feeling? Well the morning /all day/ all night sickness has pretty much gone now, with only remanents of nausea hanging its ugly head around from time to time. The heartburn has well and truely kicked in and I constantly feel like me chest and throat is on fire, and my pelvis has started to separate with orders from the doctor to "rest" , hmmm are you kidding me?

Other than that, I am fantastic!! We went for our big Anatomy scan on Friday, and our healthy (and still surprise) bundle is healthy, equipped and perfect!! How lucky are we?!
Yes, we have kept the sex a secret, its not a big thing for us, this time around, and had we not been having twins last time, I wouldnt have found out then either, but twins call for some extra organising!! We both wouldn't care if we had all of the same sex, and even if we did have 3 girls say, Noel would still be happy with another!! I mean, how could you not?! A beautiful, soft, cuddly, squeaky bundle of love!! Healthy and happy is all I can ask for, so I am putting my order in, for a non reflux- non colic- non milk protein allergic baby please!! Haha, but even then, we love them all the more!!

The maternity clothes have come out again!!
I must admit though, I am enjoying being pregnant in winter!! Ohh how nice is it!! Having had Stella and the twins in April, after the peak of summer ( and I went 8 months of Stella's pregnancy without any airconditioning!!) I am enjoying being cool. I am not as cold as my family in this weather, so the interanal heating of the baby is well and truely there still, I am just not cooking and sweating it out in 40 degree temps!
However, it does call for more clothes, and being pregnant and dressing is always hard enough!! haha

And for those who were worried about me last week, thankyou!! I ended up getting blood tests, etc for a suspected case of Ross River Virus, and it is yet to be diagnosed but I really believe it was just a random, rogue virus that I happened to get , somewhere in my tracks. But boy was it horrible!! It was like it attacked my nervous system! I couldn't talk, couldn't walk, couldn't eat or drink. I seriously thought I was having a stroke or getting Bells Palsy!! Thankfully, Noel came home from work, looked after the kids and I slept it off and went to the doctors and hospital solo.
I wouldn't wish it on anybody, but it sure does make you appreciate your life and body when it is healthy, that is for sure!

Blessed

That is all that I can conjure up at the moment for the way I am feeling! Oh and add tired, sick, emotional and a tad under the pump but Blessed covers it just fine!!

I have been AWOL of late. Due to alot of things, day to day grind, gym, dancing, playgroup, working, football, parties, socialising and most recently, holidaying!
We have just returned, only last night , from a 5 day trip to Shark Bay! Our first holiday camping in a tent with our kids and they were superstars! Slept well, loved the tent, and loved socialising with their cousins!
My parents and my sister and brother in-law and their kiddies also came and it was fantastic!
Beautiful weather, seeing dolphins at Monkey Mia, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, eating, drinking . Bliss!
I will share photos when the events of the weekend are done and dusted!

You see, tomorrow is our precious twins, Max and Lacey, first birthday!! I can not believe it!! Time has flown by and I can not imagine our lives without them in it!
And its on the eve of their big day , that I choose to share with you some big news for our family!! Why? Because, I have been thinking back 12months to the way I was feeling, the emotions, the highs, the lows, and everything in between with twins, and can't believe that we are expecting again!
Thats right, we are pregnant with baby Number 4!!
14 weeks to be exact!!  That would explain my absence, the continual nightly wakeups for a chuck (dreaded Morning sickness again!!), the extreme tiredness ( I do not remember EVER feeling this tired, but then again, I haven't had to run after twin babies or a 3 year old whilst pregnant before either!!) and all the other jazz !
This little bundle is a lovely surprise for us, and we couldn't be happier , now that it has all sunk in!
4 kids under 3 1/2 years! But how amazing will the bonds they share be in the future? Certainly worth all the hard work I think!

So this is how our baby is looking at the moment!

I have to admit though, it is feeling a damn site bigger at the moment! I can no longer sleep on my tummy comfortably! I love sleeping on my stomach and have relished in it after having the twins and recovering from our C-Sect, but now its just not good anymore. A small price to pay for such a large bundle of joy I say!

So now that the beans are spilled, I am off to do more baking! So far today, 2 dozen quiches, 2 doz cupcakes, 2 doz choc crackles, honey joys, jelly cups, 2 cakes for creating the birthday masterpieces, choc chip cookies and the night is still young!! All for the big Birthday celebration for the most beautiful and precious babies in the world!! How blessed we are!
